TJ Schneider is comming through with the first episode in the new season. Enjoi...

Last winter I was shredding around Montafon valley with Tj and Joel. We´ve been filming for TheSnowboardrealms and had a really awesome time together. There was and still is a lot to learn from them. Tj is open minded, he let me film and look over his shoulder, of what Im very thankfull of. He even gave me the opportunity to make European Snowboardrealms, about me travelling, shredding with friends and show people around the world what we are up to.
To make those four "European" episodes was not only a learning process, but also a big pleasure to do. And to be honest, it really helped me out as a rider.
But you know, time goes by and change is in our bag. So the european snowboardrealms are not longer anymore. Just in case, I thought it wouldn`t last for long. The Snowboardrealms is Tj`s baby and im very thankfull that he let me into his world and do those four episodes.
But now its time to move on and do something else.
After filming for a full lenght movie, JRBK continues making short movies and is luckily going to be in collaboration with theSnowboardrealms.com

With this, I wish TJ all the best for next season and look forward to shred together soon.
I love you.

It´s 1989. The wall is gone... gone forever.

We live in eastgermany. Our parents had to take almost 40 years of separation. Separated from their friends and family. Separated from west germany. Separated from the world. Just like a prisoner who never did any crime. Doomed by a goverment that would shoot you if you wanna leave your own country. But they didn´t just took it how it was. 100000 people went out on the streets for a revolution. A peacefull Revolution. The peacefull Revolution of their generation. The peacefull revolution of our past and familys.

It´s 2009. Mama is so proud on Sebi.

I can not imagine how the overwhelming feeling of sebi´s mother was when she saw her son in the latest (#109) onboard magazine. He deserves a spot in eastgermany´s hall of fame for snowboarding the wall of shame. The first ever dude who did it. The first ever dude who snowboarded the wall. This right here is no jump the chinese wall shit, this is a part of history. So get issue #109 of onboardmag to get politically educated or just see sebi skateboarding.

In my opinion.

All i can say till that day of the story about Sebi is that I love this dude. He inspired me from day one. He is the big brother i never had. He went way further than he ever dreamed but not that far as he deserves. Keep on doing it that way I´ll always back you up. wiot

For all who haven`t seen it already: "Get that Movie!

Don`t believe me.
The Airblaster Movie features some of the most innovate/individual riders to date. Captured during their mega fun time all around the globe. And if you ask me, id say:" Airblaster is makin one of the best snowboard movies after Robot food closed doors."

Starting form the bottom line, remember December with Travis Parker and Andrew Crawford travelling around east europe student style? For snowboard movies, december was a revolution!
Then April with a more grown crew and those crazy rhythm sections. August was relased last year, after a whole month of camping and shredding Mt. Hood with the whole team. And not to forget Bikecar as a outstanding documentary.
If you watch one after another, you can see a constant evolution of tricks, riders and production.
But all in all, whatever Airblaster video makes you wanna go out and snowboard so bad!

The fourth video which is featuring the entire team, is the first one which was not only filmed within a month, so the crew had some more time for travelling places and filming a lot of different terrrain. It`s showcasing a lot of way`s how to approach a woodstick properly through it`s magical spirit. There are even two really awesome parts of Airblaster`s up and comming riders in there too.

The surprise hit me hard this afternoon. I opened my mailbox today and in between tons of supermarket flyers i found a postcard from our good old, and now in norway exil living friend Luke.

Just wanna say thank you to all you guys for beeing part of the latest poll.
I´m kinda scared that "snowboarding with a hangover felt so good" went out to be the most popular answer on our poll (32%)! For me personally Snowboarding with a hangover felt bad as fuck! But whatever I'm proud that "the whole fridge was rails and boxes" went on second place (23%) cause the whole tropcamp team did a pretty good job on shaping the setup! Place 3 for "people went swimming in the poison filled lake" (20%), I can tell you what, swimming in there is way more suicidal than jumping out of 100 mph driving car! So be careful next time cause you might spend a couple weeks in the hospital after dropin in that puddle. The 4th (14%) was "not breaking my bones trying that trick" just try to not get drunk that hard next year and spend more time shredding cause I want this to be number one after the next fridge adventure. Last and least in our little poll was "going for a shower and catching hot water"(8%) what made me kinda mad cause maybe I was the only dumb dude always showering after you in glacier lake cold water.

Our youngest visited Grimmas cross over festival to shred some dirty ass artifficial snow jizzm, which turned a nice little meadow into a radical mini shred course.

Classic setup and jibbers dream: the box on top of a car. You have to shred that at least once in your lifetime. Saz did, and the audience seems to dig his shit!

As you have seen on the Springdance Strip, we haven`t done this for the first time and we have to say that Sandboarding is fucking awesome!

All you need is your regular shred hardware and don`t be afraid of base scratches. Sebi and peat hiking through the sand b.c.

The Sand makes it kind of slow, so don`t be afraid to choose a more steeper sand run. Sebi first descent.

So we learned that, just sliding on the sand is not that hard but the other side of the sword is, that it is hundred times more sticky than super slush. You`ve got to be a tough motherfucker to stick your jumps. Sebi Tailgrab

I`ts unbelievable!
Seems like Sebi hides 24/7 in his dungeon cutting realms and only comes out to do another one. But dont worry; we heard he skates a lot too.
The 4th eurorealm is about the Shredfest in Ninive.

Shredniks Shredfest 2009

All the snow of past season has melted away, the meadows are green again, flowers and herbs sprout out in colour and the chance to shred moved far away to the snow domes and glaciers around the world.
Its springtime and we all knew that it would happen one time.
But this time is also Shredfest time! Five years ago our friends the Shredniks had the idea to hold down a summer jam in their D.I.Y. backyard play and fun area in Ninive.
Two truck loads of artificial snow were enough to cover up the set up that consisted of two several runs. A smooth one with pole jam, slidepipe and wallride, and the og stair setup.
So, the 5th edition went down on the 16th of May and you must have been lucky to know that, because the Shredniks guys are kind of underground and dont want a big crowd to be there or even a contest.
But the plan is not always working out for them, because there were a lot of people shredding around having a good time enjoing the familiar atmosphere.
The moods went from chilled out to super hyped on shredding and on this point I have to mention some rider names that put it down that day. I know there was no competition but if there would have been one, my list would be like that:

Stair setup - SAZ and Fabian did some amazing shit and I would holla out a tie on that one
The man - Marcel Dextor is the main guy! I`ts his backyard and he put in tons of work for
us to have fun
MVP - Peat was strapped in the fever
Best slam - Ben

But whatever, contest shit and competition is second place, the first price goes out to springtime events like this!
The JRBK crew had an awesome time at the Shredniks park and we want to thank everyone who made this possible!

Airblaster trip pt. 3 Honeyhills

the final round of our little Airblaster Euro trip with Sebi, Jonas and Marx. we´ve stopped at Allgäus "honeyhills" park and had the best last day a trip can have.
just hang out with your friends and shred! and that´s what the new Eurorealms episode reflekts so check it out.

Airblaster Trip pt. 2 Kaunertal

Episode number 2 of the euro snowboardrealms is up!
This time the crew travels to Austria, shredding fancy (sorry for that word) slope shit up on the glacier of the Kaunertal mountains. Later they hook up with good friend and
academy am 100Marx to ride some radical avalanche leftovers in the valley of doom.
More exciting than the first one, this kicks ass!

Besides the whole filming, a lot of memorable photos have been shot.
And of course we don’t want to withhold you the pictures that literally speak more than thousand words.

The trip was amazing! I remember roughless freestyle battles in the back panel, Jonas taking pictures with his old cameras, 2 unlimited, suits, Käsespetzle, Riesenschnitzel, schnapps, and last but not least the people we met during the trip.
So, once again we have to say: “you know who you are” and thank you for swashbuckling snow ghosts.

Airblaster trip pt. 1 Laax

Long long time ago I can still remember mmh mhh mmhh…

Dude! The Airblaster trip with Jonas Michilot, Sebi Müller, Peat and Eric was radical time!
Two weeks they´ve been killing it in Switzerland, Austria and little bits Germany too.

The first report is about Laax, visiting the pleasure spring session for four days of extreme slope fun and awesome grab action during the Airblaster Tweak OFF contest at the crap park on Saturday. It was kind of crazy watching so many riders performing so much different grabs, I remember bloody draculas, quadruple grabs or even cannonballs! But not only grabs got us pumped, Jonas and Sebi did some rad rail moves at the beers for tricks comp and made the team managers happy with free alcohol fuelling. Just have a look at the pics and catch some atmosphere.

If that´s not enough, You should also be informed that Sebi did three Snowboardrealms episodes about the whole trip. (Yes the real realms and he is going to film more European episodes!)
So enjoy the first European Snowboardrealms featuring a bunch of crazy Airblaster people in Laax, and stay weekly tuned for Kaunertal and the Allgäu session.

Big ups go out to all the old and new friends we met in Switzerland, you know who you are!
